Los Angeles Boy, 3, Shot To Death
The shooting happened at 7:44 p.m. Saturday on the 2800 block of West Alondra Boulevard.

COMPTON, CA -- A 3-year-old boy was shot to death in Compton, authorities said Sunday. It happened at 7:44 p.m. Saturday on the 2800 block of West Alondra Boulevard, Deputy Charles Moore of the Sheriff's Information Bureau said.
Two men were arguing in a business parking lot and during the dispute one of the men involved began to enter an awaiting vehicle driven by his girlfriend, Moore said.
The suspect fired shots in the vehicle as the victims were leaving the location and subsequently discovered that the 3-year-old boy had suffered a gunshot wound, he said.

Deputies responding to the 17200 block of South Central Avenue in Carson regarding a gunshot victim discovered the boy suffering from a gunshot wound, he said.
Deputies rushed the boy to an area hospital where he was later pronounced dead, he said.

The suspect was described as a black male driving a dark-colored sedan, which was last seen driving westbound on Alondra Boulevard.
