Maker Of Truly Hard Seltzer Announces New LA Taproom
Truly LA will have indoor and outdoor seating and feature different flavors of seltzer, mixed drinks, food and live music and comedy.

LOS ANGELES, CA —Truly Hard Seltzer, an alcoholic beverage made by the brewer of Samuel Adams Boston Lager, announced Wednesday that it will open its first brick-and-mortar taproom in downtown Los Angeles early next year.
Boston Beer Company said that Truly LA, located at 213 Alameda Street adjacent to the Angel City Brewery, will be an 8,000-square-foot, 350-person indoor/outdoor taproom where customers can sample different flavors of hard seltzer and creative cocktails, while eating from a light bites menu. The venue, which currently is under construction, also will feature live entertainment from up-and-coming musicians and comedians.
"Our drinkers are all about exploration and discovery, and we want to give them that in unexpected ways," said Lesya Lysyj, CMO of the Boston Beer Company. "We wanted to do something no one else has done - and that's how Truly LA was born. At its core, our brand is all about bringing people together and forming genuine connections, and Truly LA is a physical representation of that sentiment."

According to the Boston Bear Company, the exterior of Truly LA will be decorated with murals from up-and-coming artists. The company said it also plans to leverage an existing partnerships with entertainment promoter Live Nation in order to book talent for its "Truly Inspired" concert series and comedy shows, which the company said will be "livestreamed to drinkers around the world."
Though the company did not offer specifics, Boston Beer Company said it also will be looking to give back to the local community.

"Embedded in the heart of the downtown Los Angeles Arts District, Truly LA is committed to partnering with like-minded, socially conscious organizations with a strong focus on inclusivity and, upon opening, it will work with partners in the LA community to ensure it's giving back in an impactful meaningful way," Boston Beer Company said in a statement.
