Man, 80, Goes Missing In LA

LOS ANGELES, CA — Authorities asked for the public's help finding an 80-year-old man who was reported missing in South Los Angeles on Tuesday.

Jeff Johnson was last seen at 6 p.m. Tuesday at West 36th Street and Normandie Avenue in, according to the California Highway Patrol, which activated a Silver Alert Tuesday on behalf of the Los Angeles Police Department.

Johnson is a 6-foot-1 Black man who weighs 200 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a blue shirt with white stripes, black pants and gray shoes.

Authorities believe Johnson is traveling on foot.

Anyone with information about Johnson's whereabouts is asked to call 911.
