Man Found Shot To Death On Downtown LA Sidewalk

LOS ANGELES, CA — An investigation is underway after a man was found shot to death on a downtown Los Angeles sidewalk early Friday morning.

Officers responded to a report of a shooting at around 2:30 a.m. Friday to the 1200 block of South Hope Street, several blocks east of the Crypto.com Arena, according to a Los Angeles Police Department spokeswoman.

Arriving officers found the victim face down on the sidewalk, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds, KTLA reported.

Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics were called to the scene, where they pronounced the victim dead, police said.

The victim was described as a man between 20 and 25 years old, KTLA reported.

Police have not released a description of any suspect or suspects.
