Man Killed In Shooting Near Universal Studios, Suspect Remains At Large

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene by the Los Angeles Fire Department.

STUDIO CITY, CA — A 40-year-old man was killed in a shooting Sunday at the Universal City/Studio City Station Park & Ride, and the suspect remained at large.

The shooting was reported around 11:20 a.m. Sunday in the parking lot on 10801 Ventura Blvd. in Studio City, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene by the Los Angeles Fire Department.

The suspect, who fled in an unknown direction, was described as a man in his 30s with dreadlocks and wearing a plaid shirt and black clothing, KTLA5 reported.

The motive for the shooting was still under investigation.
