Man Refuses To Come Down After Climbing Up Utility Pole Near Dodger Stadium
A man spent hours precariously perched on top of a utility pole Tuesday morning.

LOS ANGELES, CA — A man who spent at least four hours refusing to come down from on top of a utility pole was arrested early Tuesday morning after finally descending from the structure.
Police first got word that a man had climbed a utility police on Sunset Boulevard, near Vin Scully Avenue in Echo Park, at around 3:15 a.m., according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
Video aired by NBC Los Angeles showed the man sitting on what appeared to be a piece of communications infrastructure at the very top of the pole, very close to exposed wires. Utility poles are typically 35 to 45 feet tall.

Police worked to convince the man to come down from his perch. They were finally successful at around 7:25 a.m., when the man climbed down and was handcuffed.
