Man Shot To Death In NoHo Identified

A 41-year-old Van Nuys resident was fatally shot in North Hollywood following an argument Sunday, authorities say.

NORTH HOLLYWOOD, CA — A 41-year-old man fatally shot in North Hollywood Sunday was identified Monday by the Los Angeles County coroner’s office.

Efrain Garcia, 41, of Van Nuys, was shot Saturday in the 12000 block of Saticoy Street at 11:20 a.m., according to CBS2 and KTLA.

Police told KTLA that the victim got into a dispute with a 25-year-old man, who pulled out a gun and shot him before fleeing the scene. Garcia died on the scene, police said.
