Man Shot To Death In North Hollywood Identified; Killer At Large
A 30-year-old Chicago man was shot multiple times and killed just blocks from the police station.
NORTH HOLLYWOOD, CA — Authorities over the weekend identified a 30-year-old man shot to death in North Hollywood Friday and are asking for help identifying his killer.
Julian Bynum, of Chicago, died at the scene of the shooting shortly before midnight Friday. Officers responding to reports of gunfire arrived to find Bynum suffering from several bullet wounds. He died on the sidewalk.
The shooting occurred in the 6800 block of Simpson Avenue just blocks from the LAPD's North Hollywood station at about 11:30 p.m.

The killer remains at large, and the investigation is ongoing.
