Man Shot Near Beverly Center, Later Found In West Hollywood
Police are investigating to confirm the connection between the West Hollywood victim and a car-to-car shooting near the Beverly Center.
WEST HOLLYWOOD, CA — A person suffering from a bullet wound was found in a vehicle in West Hollywood Friday, and authorities suspect the shooting may have occurred a short time earlier at a gas station across from the Beverly Center.
A bystander flagged down Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department deputies shortly before 5:30 p.m. to report a shooting victim in the area of San Vicente and Santa Monica boulevards.
Authorities, however, believe the victim had been shot while at a gas station near the Beverly Center at La Cienega and Beverly boulevards.

The shooting victim reportedly fled his attacker in a black Cadillac Escalade before he was found in West Hollywood, and rushed by ambulance to a nearby hospital in unknown condition.
Sheriff's Homicide Bureau investigators were working with the Los Angeles Police Department to determine if the shooting victim was related to the reports of the shooting near the Beverly Center, the LAPD received just after 5:25 p.m., said Officer Matthew Cruz.

Police did not publicly identify the victim or release a description of the shooter.
