LOS ANGELES, CA — A man was wounded Sunday in a shooting near the Los Angeles Convention Center.

The shooting was reported at 7:55 a.m. Sunday at Pico Boulevard and Flower Street, according to a desk officer at the Los Angeles Police Department Operations Center.

Officers were summoned to the scene on a report of shots fired and found the man, believed about 35 years old, with a gunshot wound, the officer said.

The man did not cooperate with investigators, the officer said.
