LOS ANGELES, CA — A 60-year-old man was hospitalized in critical condition Saturday after he was struck by a Metro A-Line train in the Historic South-Central neighborhood.

The crash was reported at 5:55 p.m. Saturday at 328 E. Washington Blvd., between Santee Street and Maple Avenue, according to Los Angeles Fire Department spokeswoman Margaret Stewart.

Train passengers were not injured, Stewart said.
