Man Suspected In LA County Disappearance Of 5-Year-Old Boy
The pair were last seen on Saturday in the San Fernando Valley.

LOS ANGELES, CA — Authorities on Monday asked for the public's help locating an at-risk 5-year-old boy who was last seen in the San Fernando Valley with a 40-year-old man identified as a suspect in his disappearance.
Five-year-old Emmett Wishon was last seen at around 3:30 p.m. Saturday near Hartland Street and Woodley Avenue, according to the California Highway Patrol.

Emmett was last seen with Anthony Wishon, 40, who is described as a suspect in the child's disappearance, authorities said. The two are believed to be traveling in a black 2022 Ford Explorer with California license plate 9DAL909.

Authorities did not describe the pair's relationship.
The CHP said an Endangered Missing Advisory was issued to help locate Emmett.

Emmett is described as 4 feet tall and weighing 35 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a white shirt and green pants.
Wishon is described as 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighing 350 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. Authorities did not disclose the relationship between Emmett and Anthony Wishon.
Anyone with information regarding Emmett's or Anthony Wishon's whereabouts is urged to call 911.
