Man Used Shoe Camera To Film Women, Girls At SoCal Mall: Reports

SANTA CLARITA, CA — A man is accused of using a camera on his shoe to film women at a Southern California mall, according to reports.
Stephen Martin, 35, was arrested Jan. 13 on suspicion of recording a person in undergarments, a misdemeanor offense, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
The Canyon Country man in July had been following women and girls at the Valencia Town Center in Santa Clarita, positioning the camera on his foot on the escalator to film them without consent, The Signal reported.

Martin’s bail was set at $50,000 and he was released on bond, according to the sheriff’s department, which listed his next court date as April 13.
