Man And Woman Wanted In Random Freeway Shooting

A man driving along the Harbor (110) Freeway said he heard gunshots and realized his vehicle had been struck from behind.

LOS ANGELES, CA — Police are looking for a man and a woman suspected in a random freeway shooting Monday night in the south Los Angeles area.

The shooting occurred at about 8:15 p.m. Monday near Manchester Avenue on the southbound Harbor (110) Freeway in the south Los Angeles area. Several shots were fired, hitting a vehicle from behind. Now detectives are looking for the man and woman in red Hyundai SUV, California Highway Patrol Officer Roberto Gomez said.

Victor Valencia told KTLA5 that he was driving to work when an ``individual just started shooting at me out of nowhere."

The shooter was apparently one of two people inside another vehicle, Valencia said. He heard about three to four gunshots, and the rear part of his vehicle was struck, Valencia said.
