LOS ANGELES, CA — The inaugural LA3C music festival will kick off this upcoming weekend, welcoming a diverse set of artists for attendees to listen to and enjoy including Southern California DJ and vocal artist Freya Fox.

The San Diego native is a true creative who puts her passion for video games and Anime into creating "heart-pounding and emotional melodic music." Fox said she is excited to share her passion for music with everyone at the festival.

"As far as I know, I'm the only non-traditional "DJ" act at the Hot Import Nights stage so I will surely mix it up for the crowd," Fox said. "Many people haven't seen a live EDM show before - they know what DJs do and what to expect, but many people haven't experienced an EDM artist performing electronic music live while singing simultaneously. Fox said when she used to live in Los Angeles she fell in love with the creativity the city inspires and it's what she misses the most since she has moved away. She said she's honored to be part of the city's history at this first-ever festival.

She recently performed at the Life is Beautiful and she said people still talk about the people who performed at that first show and is excited to be a part of something similar.

"I hope that LA3C paves an epic legacy in that documentaries will be made about it, and people in the future will be able to see my name and performance as one of the firsts!" Fox said. "To me that is extremely exciting, to make history and make people happy is what I live for."

Her new single, which she will perform at the festival, is inspired by her struggles in choosing to venture into what makes her truly happy in performing and making music.

" I 'quit' my other businesses and stopped being an agency owner to pursue my dreams. And now I'm free," Fox said. "I hope you all resonate with this song in a way and it gives you those sadboi yet kawaii vibes."

Fox performs at 6 p.m. on Saturday and said audiences can expect her set to bring cute and serotonin-inducing music as well as heavy bass to headbang to. She described her plans for her performance as showcasing "UwU vibes" that will bring a rollercoaster of emotions.

In the future, Fox said she looks forward to continuing to visit LA and do more shows and events in the city.
