Metro Train, Vehicle Collide Friday
Riders were delayed Friday after a vehicle and train collided.

LOS ANGELES, CA — Service was halted briefly Friday after a vehicle collided with a Blue Line train in the area of Maple Avenue and Washington Boulevard just south of downtown Los Angeles, officials reported.
At approximately 2 p.m., officials responded to the scene and removed the vehicle from the tracks, Metro spokesman Jose Ubaldo said.
Metro service said that riders would experience 10-minute residual delays Friday afternoon, due to the stoppage.

No injuries were reported, Ubaldo said.
