Mother Accused Of Killing 4-Year-Old Daughter In LA: Report

EAST LOS ANGELES, CA — A woman was arrested in East Los Angeles Friday after her 4-year-old daughter was found dead inside a car, ABC7 reported.

The little girl, named Mia, was found unresponsive in a car in a business parking lot in the 4800 block of Civic Center Way late Thursday night, with her mother, Maria Avalos, 38, also in the car, according to the outlet.

Avalos was detained at the scene and later booked on suspicion of murder, ABC7 reported.
