PASADENA — Authorities issued a shelter-in-place advisory Friday after a mountain lion was spotted near Del Mar Boulevard and Euclid Avenue in Pasadena.

Residents and others in the immediate area were advised to remain indoors as a precaution while animal control officers and Pasadena police responded to the scene.
