Mystery USC Patient Reunited With Family After 5 Months
A man, who spent five months hospitalized at USC Medical Center without any idea who he was, has finally been reunited with his family.

LOS ANGELES, CA — A man who had been hospitalized at Los Angeles County-USC Medical Center for more than five months since being found in the Westlake district has been reunited with his family, the Los Angeles Daily News reported Wednesday.
The man, who was conscious but unable to communicate his identity, was found by paramedics on Aug. 19 near Sixth and Alvarado streets in the MacArthur Park area, according to hospital officials, who circulated an image of the patient on Monday in the hope that someone would recognize him.
"LAC+USC Medical Center is pleased to report that a reunification was made between the patient and his family with the assistance of the news media and the public," according to a statement from county health officials. "The patient's caregiver team is working with the family on a discharge program."

The patient, who has said he is 40 years old, was admitted to the hospital with undisclosed injuries.
He was reunited with his family on Tuesday, officials told The Daily News.
