Nanny Charged With Sexual Assault of 2 Boys
Authorities are is seeking other potential victims of a man who operated a nannying service spanning Orange and LA counties.

LOS ANGELES, CA — A nanny faces four felony child molestation charges for victimizing two young boys he cared for, authorities said Monday. His alleged victims include young boys from Los Angeles and Orange County. During the investigation, police allegedly child pornography in possession of 30-year-old Matthew Antonio Zakrzewski, who operates a professional babysitting business out of Orange County.
In early May, a Laguna Beach family reported that their babysitter, Zakrzewski, of Costa Mesa, touched their 8-year-old son inappropriately, the Orange County District Attorney's Office said. "They were concerned for the safety of their son and potentially other children" under Zakrzewski's care.
Zakrzewski's website boasts top ratings from several high profile childcare websites including Care.com. The site, where he bills himself as a "professional manny & sitter/buddy" features him swimming and playing dress-up with kids while also advertising his overnight and travel childcare services.

The couple had hired Zakrzewski to care for their eight-year-old child through one of his several babysitting websites.
According to Laguna Beach Police Sgt. James Cota, the Laguna Beach Police Department's Major Crimes & Intelligence Unit, immediately opened an investigation.

"This led to the identification of a second seven-year-old victim in the City of Los Angeles," the OCDA's office said.
Laguna Beach Police Department detectives arrested Zakrzewski at a local airport after deplaning an international flight, officials said. He is being held at Orange County Jail on $1 million bail and has been charged with three felony counts of lewd and lascivious acts with a minor under the age of 14, and one felony count of oral copulation of a child under the age of 10. He was also charged with one felony count of possession of child pornography.
Zakrzewski has pleaded not guilty, and his next court date was scheduled for Friday, May 31.
The Laguna Beach Police Department is asking for the public's help in locating any other potential victims. Anyone who has information related to this investigation or any other un-reported incidents involving Zakrzewski is urged to call the Investigations Division line at (949) 715-1300.
Senior Deputy District Attorney Heidi Garrel of the Sexual Assault Unit is prosecuting this case.
