NBC Sports Bringing Premier League Fan Fest To LA Coliseum
The Oct. 23-24 event will feature live tapings of the station's Premier League Mornings show, soccer on giant screens and free merchandise.

LOS ANGELES - NBC Sports announced Wednesday that it will be bringing its English Premier League Mornings Live Fan Fest to the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum in October, marking the first time the event will be held on the West Coast.
The festival will take place at 4:30 a.m. on Oct 23 and 6 a.m. Oct. 24, coinciding with the station's coverage of English Premier League soccer. The event will be outdoors and under the iconic peristyle end of the Coliseum, beneath the Olympic torch, NBC said. Fans will be required to show proof of vaccination and wear face coverings.

The Coliseum event will feature live tapings of the station's Premier League Mornings show with host Rebecca Lowe and commentators Robbie Earle, Robbie Mustoe and Tim Howard. There will be huge screens showing NBC's coverage of English Premier League soccer, visits by legendary players, free merchandise and plenty of food and drink, according to a release.

"This is truly a celebration for you, the American Premier League fans who get up early each and every weekend to cheer on your beloved teams," the release stated. "Soccer. Coffee. Sun. Simply put, does it get much better than this?"
The LA event will be the sixth Premier League Mornings Live event and first since December 2019 in Miami Beach. Previous fan fests have been held in New York, Washington D.C., Boston and Austin, Texas, and nearly 35,000 soccer fans have attended the events, according to NBC.

Among the featured games that will be shown live during the weekend are: Chelsea versus Norwich City at 4:30 a.m. on Oct. 23, Brighton & Hove Albion versus Manchester City at 9:30 a.m. on Oct. 23, West Ham United versus Tottenham Hotspur at 6 a.m. on Oct 24 and Manchester United versus Liverpool at 8:30 a.m. on Oct. 24.
