New Memoir 'My Wife with My Wife' is a "can't put down" true story
Even though there is a tragedy in this debut by author & Pastor Bill Leone, I laughed and ended up feeling hopeful about love.
My NYC friend, who also owns a new publishing house, emailed me a preview copy of one of their new books. She told me to get ready to read a new book that would make me "guffaw" but also bring me to tears. That book is 'My Life with My Wife' by new author Bill Leone, who is from Burbank, is a Pastor, and also wrote a book that I could not put down!
His wife was named Diane, and he gleefully tells their story as they ended up happily married, with five kids (one who they adopted after she needed a safe place to live), and lived an adventurous, often hysterical, and always faith-based life.
It reminded me of those screwball black-and-white movies that never get old and always make me laugh. But, just like real life, since it is a true story, there is also tragedy (no spoilers noted here).

Somehow, by the end, though you will probably cry sometimes as I did, there is a strong sense of optimism that you will experience.
As the author brings us through his life, he is crystal clear in helping us see that though we all have lost loved ones, it's powerful to keep those happy memories alive about them. And, as he writes, his faith is a strong foundation that keeps him grounded.
