North Hollywood Garage Fire Spreads To Nearby Building

No one was hurt in the fire, which damaged two buildings and remains under investigation.

NORTH HOLLYWOOD, CA — Two buildings were damaged in a North Hollywood residential fire shortly before noon Monday.

According to Nicholas Prange of the Los Angeles Fire Department, the blaze appeared to have spread from a detached garage to a nearby ADU in the 11500 block of West Kittridge Street. No one was hurt in the fire, but both units suffered fire damage.

It took 28 firefighters 17 minutes to extinguish the flames, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
