Pedestrian Killed In Collision With Bus Near LAX: Report
Police are investigating the fatal crash, which occurred early Thursday in Westchester.
WESTCHESTER, CA — A pedestrian was struck and killed by a bus near Los Angeles International Airport early Thursday, authorities said.
KTLA reports the collision occurred shortly after 2 a.m. near the intersection of South Sepulveda Boulevard and 98th Street.
According to the report, officers from the Los Angeles Police Department and LAX Police responded to the scene. Roads in the area were temporarily closed while investigators examined the crash site.

Police have not released the identity of the pedestrian or said what led to the collision. KTLA reported that an overnight update from LAPD confirmed an LAX bus was involved and that the scene had been cleared.
The investigation remains ongoing.
