LOS ANGELES, CA — A woman believed about 40-years-old was killed when she was struck by a hit-and-run motorist in the Manchester Square area of Los Angeles, authorities said Sunday.
The crash was reported about 11:25 a.m. Saturday at Normandie Avenue and 83rd Street, according to a desk officer at the Los Angeles Police Department's Operations Center.
The woman was pronounced dead at the scene, he said.
