Person Fatally Struck By Train In Central-Alameda Area Of South LA
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

LOS ANGELES, CA — A person was struck and killed Sunday by a Metro Blue (A) Line train in the Central-Alameda community of South Los Angeles, authorities said.
Firefighters and paramedics were dispatched at 12:52 p.m. Sunday to 4330 S. Long Beach Ave., near East Vernon Avenue, where the victim was pronounced dead at the scene, the Los Angeles Fire Department reported.
The age and gender of the pedestrian was not immediate known.
