President Donald Trump is scheduled to attend a high-dollar fundraiser in Los Angeles Friday afternoon.

LOS ANGELES, CA — President Donald Trump will venture into the hostile territory of Los Angeles Friday with hat in hand for just the third time since he took office. Like on his previous visits, he’ll be in town very briefly for a fundraiser with high-dollar donors.
President Donald Trump is scheduled to make a planned six-hour visit to the Los Angeles area Friday for a fundraising dinner for his re-election campaign. While details of the visit are being kept under wraps so far, Westsiders should brace for potential motorcade traffic jams in the late afternoon. According to an unconfirmed report by TMZ, the fundraiser will be held at the Beverly Hills home of health care executive Lee Samson. Tickets are $15,000 for dinner, $50,000 for the opportunity to take a picture with Trump and $150,000 to participate in a roundtable discussion during the event, according to an invitation obtained by City News Service.
The president is expected to fly into the Los Angeles International Airport Friday afternoon after touring the border in Calexico to view the wall. This will be the president’s first visit to the state since he threatened to divert California wildfire emergency recovery funding for building the border wall.

The president has no plans to linger in California, however. He’ll leave Friday night and head for Las Vegas, where he is scheduled to peak Saturday at the Republican Jewish Coalition's Annual Leadership Meeting.
In his past forays into LA, he headlined a Republican National Committee fundraiser near Beverly Hills in March, and in November, he toured areas ravaged by the Woolsey Fire in Ventura and Los Angeles counties. He also met with survivors of the mass shooting at the Borderline Bar and Grill in Thousand Oaks.
