LOS ANGELES, CA — The Rams reportedly signed Pro-Bowl linebacker Bobby Wagner to a $50 million, five-year deal Thursday, ESPN reported.

The deal is one of the biggest moves of free agency so far this off-season. The Seattle Seahawk's decision to release Wagner, a marquee player, made headlines and prompted interest from several teams including the Ravens and the Rams.

Wagner confirmed to the AP that the Seahawks had informed him he was being released, his $20 million salary cap hit for 2022 deemed too much for Seattle to absorb.
