Boy Found Wandering Union Station Reunited With Family
A deaf and autistic boy found alone at Union Station Wednesday has been reunited with family, but his mom may face abandonment charges.

LOS ANGELES, CA — A young boy believed to be deaf and autistic has been reunited with family after he was found wandering Union Station by himself Wednesday night, and Los Angeles police are asking for help identifying his parents. Now his mother is being questioned by detectives who indicate she is likely to face child abandonment charges.
Through all the publicity that surrounded the child's discovery, a family member stepped forward to identify the boy, who was reunited with that relative, a Los Angeles Police Department spokesman said.
Officer Christopher No didn't know if the person who came forward was a man or a woman, but said detectives were interviewing the family to find out what happened and to try and identify the woman who was with the boy at Union Station.

The little boy was found at the busy train station around 6:30 p.m. Wednesday by LAPD's Transit Services Division officers, said police Lt. Leonard Perez. Authorities are reviewing surveillance video for leads.
"He's cute. He's clean. He belongs to somebody," Perez said. "He obviously didn't get here by himself."
