It took 58 firefighters 53 minutes to put out flames inside a restaurant in the Beverly Grove area of Los Angeles early this morning.

LOS ANGELES -- It took 58 firefighters 53 minutes to put out flames inside a restaurant in the Beverly Grove area of Los Angeles this morning.

The fire was reported at 1:33 a.m. at the Izaka-Ya by Katsu-Ya sushi restaurant at 8420 W. Third St., according to the Los Angeles Fire Department's Nicholas Prange.

The flames were out in the single-story building at 2:26 a.m., Prange said.
