James Corden: Back For Year No. 3 As 'Hollywood Film Awards' Host

The ceremony is set for Nov. 5 at the Beverly Hilton. Yahoo for the "carpool karaoke" master! (Breaking)

HOLLYWOOD, CA – James Corden will host the Hollywood Film Awards in November for the third consecutive year, producers announced today.

The 21st Annual Hollywood Film Awards will take place Nov. 5 at the Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills. The ceremony recognizes films and actors, but also honors artists in the categories of cinematography, visual effects, composing, costume design, editing, production design, sound, and makeup and hairstyling.

Corden, the host of "The Late, Late Show with James Corden" on CBS, recently won two 2017 Primetime Emmy Awards.

Honorees for this year's show will be announced at a later date.

The 2017 “Hollywood Film Awards,” known as the official launch of the awards season, honors films and actors while previewing films and talent for the upcoming year, and artists in such categories as Cinematography, Visual Effects, Film Composing, Costume Design, Editing, Production Design, Sound and Makeup and Hairstyling. In its 21-year history, more than 120 of the “Hollywood Film Awards” honorees have gone on to garner Oscar nominations and/or wins.

Corden's Emmy wins include “Outstanding Variety Special” for “The Late Late Show Carpool Karaoke Primetime Special,” and he is is the co-creator and executive producer of the new "Carpool Karaoke" series for Apple Music, and serves as executive producer of "Drop the Mic," which airs on TBS.

The Hollywood Film Awards were founded in 1997 to "celebrate Hollywood and launch the awards season."

Recipients of the awards are selected by an advisory team for their body of work and/or film(s) that are to be released during the calendar year.
