Writer / producer, Lawrence Karam writes stories for film to evoke thought, create awareness and to work toward a kinder world.

Lawrence Karam is a writer, storyteller and a filmmaker who has completed multiple screenplays for which he is seeking support from production companies that wish to become involved, and Karam is seeking additional executive producers. Lawrence Karam's projects are in pre-production, to include Lost in Detroit, Until the Last Won, and Sons of the Nation.
As stated by filmmaker Karam, he wrote the screenplay "Lost in Detroit” to "create awareness regarding the current situation of how the black communities are suffering in Detroit" and Karam states, "I feel they do not receive enough support in terms of grants and resources; if additional resources were to be provided, this could most definitely lead to the betterment of these communities.”
Lawrence Karam wrote his screenplay Until the Last Won" "to remind people worldwide regarding the cause and effect of world wars and the atrocities that result. Atrocities caused by war affect us all," states Karam. His third film, "Sons of The Nation '' is a film discussing the disloyalty of a government that is depicted in the film, toward their good and loyal citizens; as well as how this mistreatment affects good, decent, hardworking people. “These people refuse to be slaves,” states Karam. “In this fictional yet riveting story, an uprising occurs when the people stand up against atrocities."
Lawrence Karam will make the scripts and the pitch-decks available for review to interested, vetted production companies and Executive Producers that wish to potentially become involved in any of the three aforementioned films. Stating, "My motivation for writing each story and through the production of every film is to send a very clear message that would hopefully cause a positive effect on the general public; with an encouragement of evoking positive change for any difficult issue that their country or region is facing, to prevent any issues that could cause a lack of safety, a situation of hardship or an unjust situation from ever happening. When good people come together to create a better, more just and kind society, this is most definitely possible, as well as what should occur.”
The budgets for the forthcoming features range from $1 - $2 million.

I never want to harass or insult any member of the human race, and I will never put down any group of people or an individual person - instead I stand firm on a platform of work in film focused on creating positive change on a significant, international level."
