Shooting Shuts Down Part Of 110 Freeway, Woman Arrested
Police investigating reports of gunfire in Elysian Park found a body at the scene and arrested a woman.
LOS ANGELES, CA — Police investigating reports of gunfire in Elysian Park found a man's body and ended up arresting a woman after shutting down two lanes of the southbound Arroyo Seco (110) Parkway at the Golden State (5) Freeway Thursday afternoon.
The Los Angeles Police Department was called in as back-up for park rangers on a report of shots fired. One lane of the freeway was quickly reopened, according to the California Highway Patrol and Officer Tony Im of the Los Angeles Police Department.
Drivers are advised to avoid the area or expect delays.
