Search Underway For Boy, 11, Last Seen In East Los Angeles

Deputies said Jaime Anthony Martinez was last seen late Wednesday night.

EAST LOS ANGELES, CA — The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department is asking for the public's help finding an 11-year-old boy who was reported critically missing from East Los Angeles.

Jaime Anthony Martinez was last seen at about 11:45 p.m. Wednesday in the 4500 block of 6th Street in East Los Angeles area, according to the sheriff's department.

His family is concerned for his well-being, authorities said.

Jaime is described as Hispanic, 4 feet, 11 inches tall and weighing about 98 pounds. He has black hair.

He was last seen wearing a black shirt with a white logo, red shorts, black shoes and a black backpack, according to the department.

Anyone with information about Jaime's whereabouts was asked to contact Detectives P. Lavin or D. Aguayo, or the on-duty watch commander at the LASD East Los Angeles Detective Bureau at 323-264-4151.
