See The Smoke? Brushfire Closes 2 Freeway Offramp In Eagle Rock
Firefighters contained a small brush fire that scorched a half acre near the northbound Glendale (2) Freeway.

LOS ANGELES, CA — Firefighters quickly gained the upper hand on a small brushfire that forced a Glendale (2) Freeway closure Thursday afternoon.
The Colorado Boulevard off-ramp from the northbound Glendale (2) Freeway was closed for about 30 minutes while crews battled a small blaze that burned less than half an acre of brush in the 2800 block of West El Roble Drive in Eagle Rock. Firefighters continued to douse hot spots into the evening.
Authorities have detained a possible suspect in connection with the fire, according to Margaret Stewart of the Los Angeles Fire Department.
