It was a cold and blustery Saturday for some corners of the Southland, with some areas feeling winds up to 68 mph.
LOS ANGELES, CA — Winds whipped through some areas of the Southern California throughout the day and into the evening Saturday, creating driving hazards and blowing unsecured objects around.
Southlanders woke up to mostly clear skies Sunday after some areas experienced precipitation and high winds. Despite Sunday's reprieve, communities were bracing for the return of blustery Santa Ana winds on Monday.
Here are the ten top wind speeds recorded around the Southland on Saturday and Sunday, according to the National Weather Service.

On Sunday morning, weather officials in the Los Angeles area converted a winter weather advisory to a wind advisory amid diminishing precipitation.
Ultimately, strong winds were forecast to decrease by Sunday, making way for more sunshine and a rise in temperatures, weather officials said.
"I think we’re going to be warming throughout the entire week," Eric Boldt, a meteorologist with the National Weather Service in Oxnard told the Los Angeles Times.
