SHARE!'S Supervision Of Peer Workforce Conference Set for Apr. 17

Recovery nonprofit seeking proposals for its third online conference by Apr. 5

CULVER CITY, CA (Mar. 20, 2024) — Proposals are invited for the third online Supervision of Peer Workforce Conference on Wednesday Apr. 17, 2024. The conference is co-sponsored by SHARE! the Self-Help and Recovery Exchange, a peer-run organization, and SCRA, the Society for Community Research and Action, Division 27 of the American Psychological Association.

The conference will highlight best practices on supervision, hiring, training, retention, scope of practice, wellness and resilience, and career ladders. Previous presenters have included representatives from Yale, UC Berkley, University of Texas, Rutgers University, George Mason University, American University in Bulgar, Central Queensland University and the Rand Corporation.

“The Supervision of Peer Workforce Conference strengthens our behavioral health system through evidence-based practices,” said SHARE!’s Director of Training, Libby Hartigan. “Great supervision is key to empower, motivate and increase peer worker satisfaction.”
