Sheared Fire Hydrant Causes Flooding In Chatsworth
Both the Los Angeles Fire Department and Department of Water and Power were working to stop the flow of water Thursday.
CHATSWORTH, CA — Firefighters and Los Angeles Department of Water and Power crews are on the scene of a street flood in Chatsworth where a fire hydrant was knocked over by a car.
The crash caused significant flooding threatening at least one home, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department. It was rereported shortly after 6 p.m. in the 10900 block of Andora Avenue near Stoney Point Park, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
There were no reports of injuries or evacuations.
