Shouting Match Leads To Shooting Near The Grove
A young man suffered multiple bullet wounds after getting into a shouting match with two others near The Grove Monday night.
LOS ANGELES, CA — A shouting match erupted into gunfire Monday night near The Grove shopping center in the Fairfax district., leaving a young man with at least two bullet wounds.
A man in his 20s was shot in the leg and arm at about 9 p.m. in the 300 block of Stanley Avenue near The Grove Drive, according to Officer Mike Lopez of the Los Angeles Police Department. Police responding to reports of gunfire found the bleeding man.
A preliminary investigation determined the victim was in a shouting match with at least two other men when the shooting occurred and the victim was struck twice. He was taken to a hospital in stable condition, Lopez said.

It was unknown if the shooting was gang-related, Lopez said.
