SigAlert: 1 Killed In Rollover Crash On 10 Freeway
A person was ejected from a small car when it crashed and rolled over several timeson the Santa Monica (10) Freeway Sunday morning.
LOS ANGELES, CA — One person was killed when they were ejected from a car that rolled over several times on the Santa Monica (10) Freeway Sunday morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a sedan flipped and rolled over at least four times before coming to rest on the eastbound freeway at the Crenshaw Boulevard off-ramp shortly after 7 a.m. The victim was reported missing from the vehicle and was eventually found in the roadway, according to the CHP.
The CHP issued a Sigalert at 7:25 a.m. closing the eastbound freeway at Crenshaw Boulevard for at least one hour. The SigAlert remained in effect more than an hour later.

A representative from the Los Angeles County coroner's office was called to the scene at 7:35 a.m.
There was no immediate word as to what caused the crash or whether there were other people injured in the crash.
