SigAlert: Brush Fire Along 105 Freeway Backs Up Traffic

A small brush fire is burning along side the Glenn Anderson (105) Freeway in the West Athens area.

Los Angeles, CA — The California Highway Patrol issued a SigAlert Thursday morning for the Glenn Anderson (105) Freeway in the West Athens area due to a brush fire near the freeway.

The fire alongside the 105 Freeway was reported at 11:25 a.m. Thursday, according to the CHP. Los Angeles County firefighters were called to the scene near the freeway and the Vermont Avenue metro train station, according to the CHP.
