Snoop Dogg's Daughter Announces Death Of 10-Month-Old Child

LOS ANGELES , CA — Rapper Snoop Dogg is mourning the death of his baby granddaughter Sunday, one day after his daughter announced the death of her 10-month-old child, who was born three months premature.

"Monday I lost the love of my life. My Codi," Cori Broadus wrote Saturday on Instagram.

She had previously shared news of the child's premature birth on the social media platform.

"The princess arrived at 6 months. I've cried and cried, I've compared and compared, blaming myself because I wasn't able to give her all that she needed. But no matter what God always shows me that He got me!" she wrote after the birth.

"Baby girl came at 25 weeks today and she's the best!! Thank You God for getting me this far."

The Long Beach rapper, whose birth name is Calvin Broadus, posted a photo on Instagram showing him with Cori, 26, and his sons Corde, 31, and Cordell, 28. No words accompanied the photo but it was captioned with a heart and prayer hands emoji.
