Body Pulled From SoFi Stadium Lake

A county dive team was called to search the lake outside SoFi Stadium Wednesday morning following reports of a body in the water.

INGLEWOOD, CA — A county dive team pulled a body from the lake outside SoFi Stadium Wednesday morning after four hours of searching.

The unidentified body of a man was pulled from the water at about 11 p.m. Wednesday hours after security cameras at the stadium captured a man entering the water, FOX11 reported.

According to the Los Angeles County Fire Department, firefighters were sent to the facility shortly after 6 a.m. following reports of a body in the water. One caller reported seeing a person jump into the water but never came out.

Along with county fire search and rescue divers, the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department's Special Enforcement Bureau were also called in along with the Inglewood Police Department.

The investigation remains ongoing, and authorities plan to hold a news conference Wednesday afternoon regarding the incident.
