Although pink is not normally the color that you would consider for your walls, just give it a thought for a moment. Uniquely planned accents of light pink can add a new look to your home and illuminate the interior in many ways. And you don’t even have to paint the entire walls. Even a small bit of pink paint on the furniture or even an old dresser can work well. You can also consider pairing pink tones with crisp white. This is an amazing combination and will work very well for any room.

The Doors and Windows Are Important
Most of the time, homeowners are keen on using paint to accentuate home décor and forget the windows and the doors. As much as the doors and the windows are considered part of the exterior, you need to blend the paint on them with that on the wall for a better look. Muted colors are often better for doors and windows.
Dusky Blue Is Still an Option Too
If you are not down with the whole pink thing then you can still go with dusky blue. Homes with high ceilings, in particular, work well with dusky blue. In addition to this, the color always brings that homey feeling and it’s definitely adaptable to other colors should you decide to mix it up a little bit. Dusky blue and white is not such a bad combination. If you want something even bolder, try and go for blue-green too. Whether it’s for the dining room, the kitchen, the bedroom, or even the lounge, you can always rely on blue-green to deliver a unique and homey look that is still reminiscent of dusky blue.

What About the Floor?
We have talked so much about paint, accents on walls, and furniture. But, can you paint the floor too? Yes, you can, and we would recommend lemon yellow. It sounds like a risk but it’s not. A combination of white walls with the lemon yellow floor will definitely deliver a unique look in your interior. In case you are not into white, the lemon yellow floor will also work well with blue-green walls and even light blue.
Pastel Pink
Pink is definitely a huge option, but if you are keen on adding a few twists here and there, consider going for pastel pink. Pastel pink for the entire wall will work but you should consider white accents on the windows.
