St. Pius X-St. Matthias Academy Alum Selected for Television Academy Foundation Internship

St. Pius X - St. Matthias Academy alumnus Eduardo Espinoza has been selected for the prestigious Television Academy Foundation Internship program. He is one of 40 students chosen by Television Academy members from across the country for the 2026 Summer Internship program. The Foundation offers paid internships at top Hollywood studios and production companies annually to college students nationwide.

Espinoza is a rising senior at California State University, Long Beach, majoring in cinematic arts. He will be a live television production intern this summer at Jesse Collins Entertainment, producers of the 78th Emmy Awards, through the Foundation’s program.

“Being chosen [for this internship] feels like all of my efforts outside of school, building my resume and working on sets over weekends paid off,” said Espinoza. “It feels like I'm only getting closer to working in a field I have chased since I was little.

“I'm excited to work alongside professionals and contribute to something greater that people will view,” continued Espinoza. “I'm eager to learn about working in television and what the day to day looks like as well as applying myself to this internship in entertainment.”

Espinoza is originally from Lynwood, California.
