Stolen Car Suspect Killed In Fiery Pileup On PCH
The suspect left recently left rehab, stole a vehicle and plowed into a motorcycle and truck on Pacific Coast Highway, KTLA reported.
MALIBU — A stolen car suspect was killed in a fiery pileup that shut down Pacific Coast Highway for much of the day Monday, snarling traffic for miles in Malibu.
The driver recently left rehab, stole the vehicle and sped along PCH slamming into a motorcycle and a truck, KTLA reported. The biker was hospitalized in unknown condition.
The multi-vehicle crash occurred along Pacific Coast Highway at Kanan Dume Road Monday afternoon, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.

The suspect was driving a 2017 Lexus that was stolen in the area sometime after noon on Monday, according to investigators.
The road remained closed for more than seven hours, reopening shortly before 9 p.m. Monday.

Authorities did not immediately release the identity of the dead suspect nor the injured motorcyclist.
