Teen's Body Found In Trunk Of Abandoned Car In LA

LOS ANGELES, CA -- A man whose body was found in the trunk of a car abandoned in an alley in the Vermont Knolls section of South Los Angeles was publicly identified Saturday. He was Miguel Sanchez, 19, the coroner's office said. His city of residence was not available.

Officers found the body about 11:50 a.m. Thursday when they responded to a report of an abandoned car in the 8200 block of Hoover Street, police said.

Witnesses told a news photographer at the scene that the car had been ticketed for parking violations.
