While she appeared on TV, she urged viewers to call her with the catchphrase, "Call Me Now," delivered in a thick Jamaican accent that she had perfected. Harris was born in Los Angeles.
In 2002, the Seattle Post Intelligencer reported that Harris has referred to herself by a variety of different names. The article also noted that after performing and producing a series of plays in Seattle before joining the Psychic Readers Network, Miss Cleo only partially paid some members of the cast and crew of her plays.
