Thieves Back U-Haul Truck Through Ventura Boulevard Storefront

Police are looking for a pair of armed men behind the brazen caper.

TARZANA, CA — A pair of brazen burglars crashed a 20-foot U-Haul truck into a Tarzana storefront early Wednesday morning, and now police are searching for the thieves.

The thieves backed the truck through the shop's glass storefront and security gate and then raided the store. Once inside the store, the thieves made off with an undetermined number of items from the business, an A2Z Wireless cellular repair shop on Ventura Boulevard, according to the los Angeles police Department and broadcast news footage from the scene.

The crime was reported to police at about 3:20 a.m. in the 19300 block of Ventura Boulevard.

Authorities are looking for two men, including one who was armed with a handgun.

According to Fox 11, the shop is a family-owned business, and the thieves took phones, iPads, accessories, and MacBooks.
