LOS ANGELES, CA — Police investigated a threat made against the University of Southern California's administration building Tuesday night.

Authorities were called to the Bovard Administration Building at 3551 Trousdale Parkway, where they scoured the building but could find nothing suspicious.

The police activity occurred as mourners gather across campus at a memorial at the Ronald Tutor Campus Center Ballroom for Victor McElhaney, who was fatally shot during an attempted robbery on March 10. It also comes as the University is mired in an admissions cheating scandal that ensnared parents and coaches at USC and other elite universities across the country.
